Collaborating with a hospital in eastern South Carolina that has an opportunity for a skilled Urologist to provide locum weekend call coverage.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Schedule: Weekend call (Thursday 5p-Monday 4p), 1 weekend per month
• Daily Volume: 10+ consults
• Weekend Volume: 18-36 patients to round on, some procedures
• Basic urological procedures required
• Must be comfortable working independently
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Urologist South Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Urologist program
• One year of work experience as Urologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
